NOTE: For ring tones, you can use sounds in .wav, .mid, mp3, or .wma file formats.
TIP: When you select a sound, it plays. To hear it again, select Menu > Play.

Delete a sound

You can only delete sounds that you have added. You cannot delete sounds pre-installed in the phone.

1. From the Home screen, press the left soft key

[Start].

2. Select Settings and press OK.
3. Scroll to Sounds and press OK.
4. Press

[Menu], Delete Sounds and press OK.

5. Select the sound to delete.
6. Press

Yes.

Copy a sound from your PC to your phone

After a sound file is located on your phone, you can use it for a ring tone. Sound files in .wav, .mid, mp3
or .wma formats can be used.

1.  Connect the phone to your PC using a USB connection.
2.  On your PC, copy the sound file you want.
3.  In ActiveSync on your PC, click Explorer and double-click My Windows Mobile-Based Device.

Do one of the following:

• To save the sound file on your phone, double-click Application Data, double-click Sounds,

and paste the file into Sounds folder.

• To save the sound file on your storage card, double-click Storage Card, and paste the file

into the folder you want.
