You can change the brightness of the gigabeat

®

 screen.

Select Settings on the start screen, and press the Enter button.

Select Screen, and press the Enter button.

Select Brightness, and press the Enter button.

Select the brightness level you want to set, and press the Enter 
button.

You can select from the following levels: 1: Darkest, 2, 3, 4, 
5: Brightest 

To check the actual brightness of each level by press the Up or 
Down button to switch to the different levels.
