Settings

Speak caller ID:

enables the caller’s identity to be spoken.

Vibration:

enables or disables vibration feedback.

Sound:

enables or disables sound feedback.

Focus speech audio:

decreases other audio volumes when TalkBack is speaking.

Sound volume:

adjusts the sound volume in relation to the multimedia volume.

Explore by touch:

navigate using gestures, accept with a double-tap and select with a

single-tap.
Automatically scroll lists:

enables automatic list scrolling.

Single-tap selection:

Enables/disables the option to select a previously marked element

with a single tap.
Show context menu as list:

shows the global and local context menus as lists instead of

circles.
Explore by touch tutorial:

launches a tutorial on touch exploration.

Gestures:

Customises TalkBack gestures.

Custom labels:

edit the contents of your custom labels.

Keyboard shortcuts:

Customises TalkBack keyboard shortcuts.

TalkBack suspend and resume shortcut:

When enabled, long pressing the volume up and

down keys will suspend or resume TalkBack.
Dim screen when TalkBack is enabled:

reduces screen brightness to a minimum while

TalkBack is on.
Resume from suspend:

choose how TalkBack should resume after being suspended. It can

be set to resume when the screen is activated, when the screen is locked or only via the

notification bar.
