■ Optional unit installation

Install the optional unit as follows:

q Rotate [VOL] to turn the power OFF, and remove the bat-

tery pack. (p. 2)

w Unscrew a screw, then remove the rear panel.
e Unscrew the 6 screws, then take off the chassis from the

front panel in the direction of the arrow.

BE CAREFUL! Flat cable is connected between the MAIN unit on
the chassis and front panel.

r Install the optional unit as shown below.

t Replace the chassis and the rear panel, and attach the

battery pack. Then rotate [VOL] to turn the power ON.

NOTE: The optional UT-111 

LTR TRUNKING BOARD

requires

some PC board modifications. Please refer to the addi-
tional installation as shown on the next page.
