Calling a specific station
q Program the desired code channel in advance (p. 37).
w Set the operating frequency.
• Set the AF and squelch to the desired level as in normal opera-
tion.

to select “dtm.PG,” if “dtm.CS” or “dtm.OF” ap-
pears.
r Select the desired transmit code channel:

to select the desired code channel.

to return to previous condition.
• 100 MHz digit shows “P.”

to transmit the pager code.
y Wait for an answer back.
• When the transceiver receives an answer back code, the func-
tion display shows the other member’s ID or group code.
u After confirming a connection, push

OPTION SET MODE

to select the
code squelch operation, or repeat the previous key
operation again to select non-selective calling system.
