D  Setting DTCS polarity

For DTCS operation, the polarity setting is also configurable, 
as well as the code setting. If the polarity is different, the 
DTCS squelch never opens, even when receiving a signal 
that includes a matched DTCS code.

[FUNC](M), and then [SET](8) to enter the Set mode.

  Push 

[] or [] to select the DTCS polarity item (dtP).

  Rotate 

[VOL] to select a desired polarity setting between 

“dtP.nn” 

(normal)

(TX: normal, RX: reverse)

 Push 

[# ENT] to exit the Set mode.

  Set a desired operating frequency, and then a CTCSS tone 

or a DTCS code.

  Push 

[FUNC](M), and then [TONE](1).

•  Repeat step w several times to activate a desired tone function.

 Operate the transceiver in a normal way.
