Smart Finder Solar 
Quick Start Guide

Setup 
1. Download and install the free Smart Finder app in one of the following 3 ways. 
•   Scan the QR code on right. It takes you directly to 
iTunes App Store or Google Play store depending 
on the type of your mobile device. 
•   Type in the URL: http://PallyTech.com/KF‐Li/ on the 
Internet browser on your smartphone or tablet. 
• Launch the “App Store” app on Apple devices or 
Google Play app on Android devices, and search for 
“smart finder”. 
 
2.  Launch the  Smart  Finder  app.  If  Bluetooth  is  off  the  app  will  prompt  you  to 
turn it on. 
 
3. Follow these steps, to pair your Smart Finder with your iPhone, iPod or iPad. 
a. Press "P" button once on the Smart Finder to activate it. The red LED on the 
Smart Finder will start blinking once per second to indicate that it is ready 
for connection. 
b. Once the Smart Finder is discovered, its LED blinks at a slow rate of once per 
3 seconds. Press and hold the "P" button for 3 seconds to finalize pairing of 
the Smart Finder. A beep is sounded to confirm pairing success. 
c. Press “+” button in the app to add additional Smart Finder tags. 
 
Works with iPhone 4s/5/5c/5s/6/6plus, iPad 3/4/Air, iPad mini 1/2, iPod touch 
5 or later. 
Works with Android devices with Bluetooth 4.0 and Android 4.3 or later. Such 
as Nexus 5, Nexus 7(2013), Samsung Galaxy S3/4/5, Note 2/3/4.
