First time use: 

Place the cradle on the kayak by inserting the bungee cords into the intended slots. If you wish, 
you can use the securing leash to double secure the cradle. It is designed to handle the toughest 
of conditions the sea can throw at it. 

Place the outer sleeve on your phone, then slide your phone inside the water-proof case. Close 
the case using the latch on the back side.  

(Note: we recommend testing your case with a paper towel in it before placing your phone 
inside.) 

You can secure your phone with double-safety leash, adjust it to your desired length and attach 
it either to your life vest, your skirt, life line or anywhere else you see fit. A safety-quick release 
feature will allow the phone to stay attached to you even if you fall off the boat. 

Place your phone in the cradle before starting to paddle. The cradle should automatically turn 
on. After a period of no activity the cradle will automatically turn off, if at any point you need to 
turn the cradle back on, you can remove your phone, and place it back in or short-press the 
manual button. 

To place your paddle sensor on.  Use the right blade side of your paddle. The sensor should be 
mounted as close to the center of the paddle as possible. Place the sensor mounting tracks at 90 
degrees to the right blade when the power face is parallel to your chest. Notice here, the 
Motionize logo should be facing you. Clean the area of the paddle you will attach the sensor 
mount to, peel the film off the double sided tape. Now attach the paddle sensor mount while 
applying firm and equal pressure. You can now slide the sensor into place and close the double 
securing latch. To remove, unhook the latch, press the snap and slide sensor out. 

To turn the sensor on, short-press on the button. You can also find out how much battery is left 
by either checking on your app or giving a quick press and the LEDs will turn on accordingly.  To 
turn off, press for 3 seconds.
