The StoreEasy 1440, and 1540 models below have no internal drives pre-installed. These models require selection of drive type and
quantity for factory integration.

NOTE: 4 drives of the same type and capacity must be selected for the StoreEasy 1440 and 1540 models. These models cannot ship
with less than 4 drives pre-configured so that the operating system can be pre-installed. The 4 drives will be configured as RAID 6 for
OS installation. Other drive types and capacities can be used in external enclosures.

The StoreEasy 1640 and 1840 models come with 2 x300GB 6G SAS 10K rpm SFF (2.5-inch) SC Enterprise drives factory configured as
RAID 1 with OS pre-installed. (The OS drives are in the two rear bays of the StoreEasy 1630 and in two of the front bays for the
StoreEasy 1840. The StoreEasy 1640 and 1840 can ship with just the OS drives and no data drives. If data drives are needed select the
drive type and quantity for factory integration.

NOTE: HP recommends that the internal data drives for these models be the same type and capacity. The data drives don't have to be
the same as the OS drives.

NOTE: Options (other than drives selected as part of the configure-to-order process) ship separately and are not
factory integrated.
