Revision 2.01
The WLO880F flow manager is a compact inline
appliance that manages network traffic flows
to optimize and protect network and server
infrastructures. Deployed in front of servers or
network equipment, the WLO880F flow manager
is a non-intrusive solution for managing against
bandwidth abuse or attacks against network
infrastructure. Based on the new RDX technology,
it supports monitoring network flows at 2Gbps
throughput while maintaining line quality and low latency. The WLO880F flow manager is configured using granular userdefined policies
identifying thresholds for session creation, per flow bandwidth and aggregate bandwidth. With its compact form factor and low power
characteristics, the WLO880F supports flexible deployment options that are traditionally limited by space and power restrictions. Using
less than 15 Watts, the device reduces the cost of operation over traditional flow monitoring devices.
