You can loose and fix the ball

It can be adjusted in each 
direction within the holder -
suitable for quick picture 
changes, if a precise image 
section is not necessary.

The 3-way-panheads can be positioned 
in three different directions:
1. left and right
2. up and down
3. inclination between portrait format and
    landscape format
Each axis can be moved and fixed by its 
own handle. So the photo will be precise 
and controllable.

The video heads are suitable 
for photo cameras as well as for 
video cameras. The positioning 
is possible only in two directions, 
because a video camera is
not able to record in portrait 
format. The especially for filming

Please decide for yourself, which are the most important criteria for you. Usually it will be a compromise between easy 
transport and stability. Make sure that the tripod is dimensioned for the load of camera, head and the complete equip-
ment. 

Mono Pod or Tripod ?

Especially sport photographer and
hobby photographer, who prefer a 
bit less bearing load, appreciate the 
mono pod. It perfectly protects against 
camera shakes, which can take place 
vertically. Besides that the mono pod 
permits precise pannings only by body 
turning. But it has to be hold perma-
nently.

If you intend to realise pictures 
without camera shakes in the case 
of longer exposure time, the tripod is 
the best alternative. It offers perfect 
stability for your camera - provided 
that the weight of the complete 
camera equipment suits to the load 
capacitance of the tripod.

Only by using a mono pod or tripod the photographer can completely take advan-
tage of the picture sharpness performance the lenses offer.

Which weight can be managed by the head ?

Which combination of your camera equipment is the 
heaviest ? Camera, lens, flashgun and further accessory 
must be taken into account.

The centre of gravity of the main weight should be 
located on the ground plate. Long and heavy additional 
lenses or other equipment intensify the lever action and 
necessitate stronger fixing. 

Large-scale cameras, such as medium format or video 
cameras need more extensive quick-release plates to 
minimize vibrations
