with liquid on top of them (e. g. vases). You run the risk of causing a fire
or a fatal electric shock. If this is the case, de-energise the appropriate
mains socket (e.g. switch off circuit breaker and RCD) and then remove
the mains plug from the mains socket. Disconnect all cables from the de-
vice. The product must no longer be used after that; take it to a specialist
workshop.

•  Never plug in or unplug the mains plug when your hands are wet.

•   Make sure the device is adequately ventilated when in operation. Do not
cover the ventilation holes with magazines, table cloths, curtains etc.

•   Do not expose the device to high temperatures, dripping or spraying wa-
ter, strong vibrations or heavy mechanical stress.

•   Do not place open flames such as burning candles on the device.

•   Consult a professional, if you are unsure how the equipment operates or
how to connect it safely.

•  Never leave the device on unattended.

•   Only use the appliance in a moderate climate, and avoid a tropical envi-
ronment.

plaything for children.

•   Please also observe further safety instructions in the individual chapters
of this operating manual.

•   Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices
that are connected to this device.

arise which are not covered by the operating instructions, please do not
hesitate to contact our technical support or a specialist.
Mains Connection
Before plugging in the mains plug make sure the voltage indicated on the
device is compatible with the mains voltage available. Do not connect the
device if the data doesn’t match the available mains voltage. An incorrect
supply voltage will cause serious damage.
Be careful when handling the mains cables and mains connectors. Mains
voltage can cause fatal electric shocks.
The mains socket, to which the device is connected, must be easily acces-
sible, so it can be quickly isolated from the mains voltage in the event of a
fault.
Do not leave the cables trailing free; route them in an orderly and profes-
sional way to prevent accidents.
•  Connect the supplied power cable with the mains connector on the rear panel of the
device.
•  Plug the power plug into a wall outlet of the public power supply.
•  The toggle switch ON/OFF is used to turn the speaker on or off.
Position ON: Device is turned on.
Position OFF: Device is switched off.
•  When the unit is on, a beep is audible and the LED on the device’s rear panel flashes
slowly.
