these safety instructions. We do not assume any liability for any resulting dam-
age.

The exclamation mark symbol indicates  that important information is included
in these operating instructions.
The arrow symbol indicates tips and notes.
•  A TV wall holder is not a toy. Keep the device out of the reach of children.
•   Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a dangerous play-
thing for children.
•  Selecting an unsuitable installation location can lead to personal or material damage.
•   Proceed with care when assembling and installing the product. The product may have sharp
edges. There is a risk of injury!
•   Carry out only the work on the TV wall holder that is necessary in order to install it (or to adjust
it). Never perform any conversion or repair work.
•  Before beginning the installation process, check whether there is an appropriate mounting
option for a TV wall holder on the back of your TV set.
•   Depending on the size and design of the TV set and TV wall holder concerned, it is sensible for
a second person to help with the installation. This person can hold the TV set still, for example,
while you are attaching the TV set to the wall holder.
•   Apply your full concentration when carrying out the installation, because if the TV set and/or
TV wall holder were to fall, this could cause expensive damage to the equipment and there is
the potential danger of personal injury!
•   Lay all the TV set’s cables in such a way that they do not get jammed or kinked in the wall
holder.
•   Check all the screw fi ttings from time to time. Adjusting the position of the TV set and/or the
wall  holder and moving them can sometimes cause the screws to become loose over time.
•   Do not apply force when moving/adjusting the TV set or the TV wall holder. The TV set may be
damaged by it.
•  When moving/adjusting, do not press on the TV set’s screen.
•   Do not overload the TV wall holder. Pay attention to the details provided by the manufacturer
for the maximum TV set weight and/or its size.
•  Do not use the TV wall holder to support yourself or to hold onto.
•  Do not fi x any objects to the TV wall holder other than the TV set for which it was intended.
•   In case of doubt, do not perform the installation yourself. Have an expert carry out the instal-
lation.
Installation
Wall-mounting is permissible only where the wall concerned is of the correct
type and condition. Thin lightweight partition walls or those made from gyp-
sum boards with unstable substructures are normally unsuitable. However,
specialist retailers do sometimes stock special dowel fi ttings for such installa-
tion locations. If you are in doubt, ask a specialist before installation.

Depending on the base wall material (e.g. concrete), suitable mounting materi-
als must be used (screws, dowels, etc.). The dowel screws enclosed are only
suitable for solid walls. Special dowels and screws are not normally supplied
with the TV wall holder and must be bought separately, depending on the type
and condition of the wall concerned.

Due to the weight of the TV set, TV wall holder and the lever action involved,
ensure that the screws are fi xed securely.

Plan the installation location carefully, so that the TV wall holder with the TV
set fi xed to it will be situated at the correct location (height and position) when
you have fi nished the installation.

Pay attention when drilling and tightening the screws that no cable or pipes in
the wall are damaged. Inadvertently drilling through electric cables causes the
life-threatening danger of an electric shock!

Pay special attention to your safety when using electric tools (e.g. a drill). You
should also heed the safety instructions in the corresponding instructions.

Make sure no persons are in the area under the TV wall holder and/or the TV set
during the installation.
For this purpose, please observe the pictures in the mounting instructions enclosed.
Preparation of the TV set
•   It is usually necessary to remove the TV set’s base before mounting it on a wall holder. Ob-
serve the operating instructions for your TV set.
•   Put the TV set fl at on a soft and clean underlay, the display side facing downwards. Do not
apply pressure on the display. Protect valuable furniture surfaces during installation by using
a suitable underlay.
•  Remove the existing base. Depending on the TV set, this base is either screwed tight or
clipped on.
Image 1:
•   Unfasten the upper mounting nut and remove the lower mounting nut on the base plate.
•  To this end, use the screw wrench (I) provided.
•  Remove the base plate from the wall holder.
Image 2a (Mounting on cavity wall constructions):
•   Select the position and the height of the wall holder at the mounting location. The fastening
holes on the mounting plate must be centred on the wood stud or another stable mounting
element of the wall construction. To defi ne this position, e.g. a stud fi nder might be helpful.
Make sure you hold the wall holder in the correct orientation. The forked opening for
fastening the base plate must face upwards.
•  Align the wall holder horizontally using a water level.
•   Mark the necessary drilling holes at the mounting site. To this end, use the wall holder as a
template.
•  Drill the required holes.
•   Tighten the wall holder using four screws (W-A or other screws from the specialist shop suit-
able for the mounting surface) and washers (W-C).
The dowels enclosed (W-B) are not used for this mounting type.
Image 2b (Mounting on solid wall constructions):
•  Select the position and the height of the wall holder at the mounting location.
Make sure you hold the wall holder in the correct orientation. The forked opening for
fastening the base plate must face upwards.
•  Align the wall holder horizontally using a water level.
•   Mark the necessary drilling holes at the mounting site. To this end, use the wall holder as a
template.
•   Drill the required holes and insert  suitable dowels in the boreholes (W-B or special dowels).
•   Tighten the wall holder using four screws (W-A or other screws from the specialist shop suit-
able for the mounting surface) and washers (W-C).
Image 3:
•  Place the three covers onto the mounting plate on the wall.
•  When you do this, the cover with the cable holder must be mounted at the bottom.
