falls der Wasserfluss gehindert ist. Prüfen Sie die Temperatur nach einiger Zeit 

dann nochmals mit dem Thermometer.

b  Sollten die Temperaturwerte immer noch sehr unterschiedlich sein, kann man 

den Regelheizer neu justieren.

c  Entfernen Sie dazu das mitgelieferte Werkzeug auf der Halterung oder verwen-

den Sie einen Schraubenzieher (Fig. 5).

d  Halten Sie den blauen Drehregler auf dem eingestellten Wert, und drehen Sie 

den orangenen Regler des Kalibriersystem gegen + oder gegen -, je nachdem, 

ob die gemessene Temperatur niedriger oder höher ist, als die auf der Skala 

eingestellte (Fig. 6). Es gibt 3 fixierte Positionen gegen + und -. Jede Position 

entspricht etwa 1° C. Wenn Sie zum Beispiel den Regler auf 24°C eingestellt 

haben  aber  22°C  gemessen  haben,  drehen  Sie  den  orangenen  Regler  2 

Positionen Richtung +. Insgesamt ist eine Nachkalibrierung in einem Bereich 

von 6°C möglich: 3°C ins + und 3°C ins -.

–  VERSUCHEN SIE NIE, DIESE WERTE ÜBERSCHREITEN !

5-  Drehen Sie den blauen Regler, oder den orangenen Regler des Kalibriersystems 

nie über Arretierung hinaus ! dadurch kann der Thermostat beschädigt werden. 

Eine falsche Anwendung des Produktes wird von der Garantie nicht gedeckt.

6-  Das Licht zeigt an, dass der Regelheizer in Funktion ist. Wenn die eingestellte 

Temperatur erreicht wird, schaltet das Licht aus. Der Heizer schaltet sich auto-

matisch an und aus um die eingestellte Temperatur zuhalten.

7-  Prüfen Sie von Zeit zu Zeit die Temperatur des Wassers, um Ihren Fischen ideale 

Bedingungen bieten zu können.

♦ Vor jeglichem Wasserkontakt und Eintauchen der Hände sind alle im Wasser 

♦ Prüfen  Sie  vor  Anschluss  des  Gerätes,  ob  die  Betriebspannung  (siehe

Dieser  hochwertige  Regelheizer  ist  mit  einem  patentierten  Temperatur-

Kalibrierungssystem  ausgestattet.  Dieses  ermöglicht  eine  Neujustierung  für  den 

Fall,  dass  es  Abweichungen  zwischen  der  auf  der  Temperaturskala  eingestellten 

Temperatur und der durch ein Präzisionsthermometer ermittelten Temperatur gibt. 

Falls erforderlich, folgen Sie den Anweisungen unter Punkt 4.

Um eine ideale Wärmeverteilung im Aquarium zu erreichen, ist der Regelheizer 

in einer Zone mit gutem Wasserumlauf und dem Heizelement zum Aquarienboden 

zeigend zu platzieren.

Bei Nichtbefolgen kann auch der Thermostat nicht richtig funktionieren.

Der Regelheizer kann vollständig eingetaucht werden und muss mindestens bis zur 

Anzeige “MINDEST-TAUCHTIEFE“ (Fig 1) unter Wasser sein.

1.  Die Saugnäpfen an der Halterung wie in Fig. 2 gezeigt befestigen.

2.  Reinigen  Sie  die  Aquarienscheibe  von  Algen  und  anderen  Ablagerungen  und 

pressen Sie die Halterung mit den Saugnäpfen fest an die Scheibe (Fig. 3). Damit 

sich der Thermostat an die Temperatur des Wassers anpassen kann, sollten Sie 

ca. 30 Minuten warten, bevor Sie ihn ans Netz anschließen.

3.  Drehen Sie den blauen Drehregler zur Temperatureinstellung bis zum gewünsch-

ten Wert (Fig. 4). Lassen Sie den Regelheizer etwa einen Tag im Betrieb und 

prüfen Sie dann die Temperatur des Wassers durch ein Präzisionsthermometer.

4.  Falls  die  auf  der  Skala  eingestellte  Temperaturniedriger  als  die  durch  das 

Thermometer ermittelte Temperatur ist, gehen Sie wie folgt vor:

a  Prüfen Sie den Wasserfluss um den Regelheizer. Wählen Sie eventuell eine

le bouton de post-calibrage (orange) vers + si la valeur de la température 

que vous avez mesurée est plus basse de celle-la indiquée en correspondance 

du point de repère, ou vers - en cas la température mesurée est supérieure à 

celle indiquée par le point de repère (fig. 6). Le bouton de post-étalonnage 

peut être réglé sur 6 diverses positions, 3 vers le + et 3 vers le -. Chaque 

position corresponde à peu prés à 1°C. Si on a réglé le chauffe-eau sur une 

température de 24° et on mesure 22°C, il suffit de tourner le bouton de post-

étalonnage 2 positions vers +.

5- ATTENTION à ne pas dépasser les limites en tournant le bouton de réglage et/ou 

le bouton de post-étalonnage car ça pourrait endommager le thermostat. Chaque 

manumission rendra la garantie vide de valeur. 

6- L’allumage de la lampe témoin signifie que le thermoplongeur chauffe. Lorsque 

l’eau aura atteint la température sélectionnée, la lampe témoin s’éteindra. Elle se 

rallumera automatiquement afin de maintenir la température au niveau désiré.

7- Il est recommandé de vérifier régulièrement la température de l‘aquarium pour 

garantir aux poissons des conditions de vie idéales.

♦ Débrancher toutes les installations électriques avant de mettre vos mains 

♦ Vérifier que la tension de votre ligne corresponde au voltage indiqué sur 

♦ A’ utiliser seulement en adaptant un disjoncteur différentiel = 0.03 A

♦ NE PAS BRANCHER LE CHAUFFE-EAU A LA PRISE AVANT DE L’AVOIR IMMERGE.

♦ Le chauffage doit être immergé au minimum jusqu’au l’indication “NIVEAU 

♦ Après l’avoir plongé, attendre quelque minute avant de brancher le chauf-

Ce chauffe-eau de haute de gamme est équipé d’un système de post-calibrage bre-

veté qui vous permette de le re-talonner en cas de différences entre la température 

sur l’échelle et celle éventuellement trouvée par un thermomètre de précision. 

Si nécessaire suivre les indications au point 4 des instructions suivantes.

Installez le chauffe-eau de façon à permettre une libre circulation de l‘eau autour 

du tube de verre afin d’obtenir une répartition uniforme de température autrement 

le thermostat ne peut pas fonctionner correctement. 

Le chauffe-eau est complètement submersible et pour fonctionner correctement il doit 

être immergé au moins jusqu‘au repère “NIVEAU MINIMUM DE L’EAU” (fig. 1).

1- Montez les ventouses sur le support en les insérant comme en fig. 2.

2- Enlever les algues de l‘endroit choisi et y fixer le chauffe-eau. Presser fermement 

les ventouses contre le verre pour les faire adhérer à la paroi de l’aquarium (fig. 

3). Attendre 30 minutes avant de brancher la prise pour permettre au chauffe-

eau de s’acclimater à la température de l’aquarium.

3- Tourner le bouton de réglage jusqu’à ce que la valeur choisie soit en face du 

point  de  repère  (fig.  4).  Laisser  fonctionner  pendent  24  heures.  Prendre  la 

température avec un thermomètre de précision. 

4- Si la température prise par le thermomètre et celle la du point de repère résultent 

très différentes, corriger l’étalonnage grâce au bouton de réglage en: 

a  Vérifier la libre circulation de l’eau autour du tube et éventuellement changer 

la position ou déplacer les plantes ou autres choses qui pourraient déranger 

la circulation et laisser le chauffage travailler pendant quelque heure avant 

de re-vérifier la température.

b.  Should you still find a difference you can correct the set value by adjusting the 

calibration control knob (orange). 

c.  Remove the special device inserted in the suction cup support, just pulling it 

out of its location (fig. 5) or use a flat blade screwdriver.

d.  Hold the control knob (blue) with one hand so that the scale indicator does 

not move from the value of temperature you want to have and rotate the post-

calibration knob (orange) toward + if the value of temperature you measured 

is lower than the one on the scale, or toward - in case the temperature you 

measured exceeds the one you have set (fig. 6). There are 6 preset positions, 

3 toward + and 3 toward -. Each position corresponds to about 1°C. So i.e. if 

you have set a temperature of 24°C and you measure 22°C just turn the post 

calibration knob 2 steps toward +.

5-  NEVER ATTEMPT to exceed the limits of both the temperature control knob and 

the post-calibration knob, as this could damage the calibration of the bi-metal. 

Any tampering will automatically cancel the warrantee given on the product.

6-  The heater is on when the pilot lamp is alight. Once the water has reached the 

desired temperature, the lamp will switch off. It will come on again automatically 

as the heater maintains the water at the desired temperature.

7-  Periodically check the temperature in the tank to ensure that your fishes have the 

best environment and conditions for spawning. 

♦ Always disconnect all electrical appliances from the mains before placing 

♦ Check  that  the  voltage  shown  on  the  label  of  the  unit  corresponds  to  the 

♦ Connect the unit only to power supplies with residual current circuit breaker 

♦ DO NOT PLUG THE HEATER INTO MAINS SUPPLY UNTIL IT IS IN THE WATER. 

♦ The  heater  must  be  submersed  to  at  least  the  “MINIMUM  WATER  LEVEL” 

♦ After immersion, wait for a few minutes before turning the heater on so that 

♦ Before removing the heater, or before any changing or adding of water to the 

♦ The line cord cannot be replaced or repaired. Should the cord become dam-

This high quality heater is equipped with a patented post-calibration system that 

allows you to re-adjust its setting in case of differences between the temperature on 

the scale and the one measured with a precision thermometer. 

Should it be necessary, please follow the instructions reported under the following 

point 4.

To  obtain  the  best  distribution  of  heat  in  the  tank,  place  the  heater  inside  the 

aquarium  so  that  the  water  can  circulate  freely  around  the  glass  tube,  with  the 

heating  element  part  at  the  bottom  of  the  aquarium.  Otherwise  the  thermostat 

cannot work correctly. 

The heater is fully submersible and for correct functioning it must be submersed at 

least till the “MINIMUM WATER LEVEL” mark (fig. 1).

1-  Mount the suction cups onto the support provided, inserting them as shown in 

(fig. 2).

2-  Clean the glass surface from algae etc. and press the suction cups firmly against 

the glass wall of the aquarium (fig. 3). Allow the heater to acclimatise to the 

temperature of your aquarium for about 30 minutes before plugging it in. 

3-  Turn the blue control knob until the desired temperature shows up in the scale 

window (fig. 4). Leave the heater to stabilise for about one full day and check 

the temperature of the water with a precision thermometer. 

4-  In case of a significant difference between the temperature set on the scale and 

the one measured with a precision thermometer, please act as follows:

a.  Make sure the water is circulating around the heater, trying different posi-

tions or moving plants or items, which could disturb the circulation and let 

the heater work for few hours before checking the temperature again. Also 

muss fachgerecht entsorgt werden.
