Installation of a driver

(1) Windows Me detects the FX-DS110-PCC as a new piece of

hardware at startup and invokes the “Add New Hardware
wizard” with its dialog box.

(2) Insert the “Driver Disk #1” floppy disk into the floppy disk

drive.
This procedure assumes the floppy disk drive as drive A.

(3) Select “Automatic search for a better driver”, then click on

“Next”.

(4) Make sure that the CONTEC-FX-DS100-PCC driver will be

searched for, then click on “Next”.

(5) When prompted with the message “Please Insert the disk

labeled Windows Me CD-ROM and then click OK”, follow the
instruction and click on “OK”.
If your PC is a Windows preinstalled machine without the
Windows Me CD-ROM bundled, specify the following path in
the hard disk.  This procedure assumes the hard disk drive as
drive C.
C:\WINDOWS\OPTIONS\CABS

(6) If the message ”File ds110.sys could not be found” is displayed

during copying of files, specify “A:”.
If the message “The xxx file in the Windows Me CD-ROM
could not be found” is displayed, specify the path to the
Windows Me CD-ROM or the path in (5) above.

(7) When copying files has been completed, click on “Finish” to

finish installing the driver, then restart Windows.  Set up the
network depending on the operating environment.
