HP Insight Control for Linux (IC-Linux) includes HP Insight Control virtual machine management software for
unified management and control of virtual environments. This affordable virtualization is based on XEN®,
the open source hypervisor which is already provided with many Linux distributions. Capabilities include
association of virtual machines with their physical hosts in HP SIM; monitoring performance of virtual
machines and host servers; virtual machine control functions (e.g. start , stop, pause, suspend), and virtual
machine recovery functions (e.g. copy, move). With unified management of physical and virtual
resources, systems administrators now have the ability extend existing processes to the management of
their virtualized infrastructure while leveraging best-in-class technology for deployment, monitoring, and
control.
