To charge the battery using the iPod Power Adapter:
1
Connect the AC plug adapter to the power adapter (this may already be 
assembled).

Connect the iPod Dock Connector to FireWire Cable included with iPod to the 
power adapter, and plug the other end of the cable into iPod. 
3
Plug the power adapter into a working electrical outlet. 
Warning  
Make sure the power adapter is fully assembled before plugging it 
into an electrical outlet.
