The
socks.accelerate
property controls the SOCKS proxy handoff to other protocol agents.
Syntax
socks.accelerate(no|auto|http|aol_im|msn_im|yahoo_im)
The default value is

.

—The SOCKS proxy does not hand off the transaction to another proxy agent, but tunnels the
SOCKS transaction.

—The handoff is determined by the URL scheme.
Any other value forces the SOCKS proxy to hand off the transaction to the agent for the indicated
protocol.

condition can be used to test which agent was selected for handoff. The

condition can be used to test for unaccelerated (tunneled) SOCKS transactions.
