About Adobe XMP
Adobe XMP (eXtensible Metadata Platform) is a technology that assists the user in adding file information to files
saved in PNG, GIF, JPEG, Photoshop and TIFF formats. XMP facilitates the exchange of metadata between Adobe
applications. For example, users can save metadata from one file as a template and then import the metadata into
other files.
