45. Replacement of Test Adapters

R e p l a c e   t e s t   a d a p t e r   X 1 3 B   ( u s e d   i n   T V - 2 / U ,   T V - 2 A / U ,   a n d

T V - 2 B / U )   a n d   t e s t   a d a p t e r s   X 3 B ,   X 7 B ,   a n d   X 1 0 B   ( u s e d   i n   T V -
2 B / U   o n l y )   a s   f o l l o w s :

( 1 )   R e m o v e   t h e   t u b e   t e s t e r   c h a s s i s   ( p a r .   3 6 )   f r o m   t h e   c a s e .

(2) Remove the hexagonal nut from the threaded stud of the

t e s t   a d a p t e r   t o   b e   r e p l a c e d .   R e m o v e   t h e   s p a c i n g   s l e e v e

when replacing test adapter X3B.

(3) Remove the test adapter from the test socket.

( 1 )   P l u g   t h e   a d a p t e r   i n t o   i t s   c o r r e s p o n d i n g   t e s t   s o c k e t .   B e

s u r e   t o   p l a c e   t h e   s p a c i n g   s l e e v e   o v e r   t h e   t h r e a d e d   s t u d

of test adapter X3B.

(2) Replace and tighten the hexagonal nut.

(3) Replace the tube tester chassis in the case.
