CUSTOM HOODS

ORDERING INFORMATION 

1.   The retailer or kitchen designer completes
 

the Request-A-Quote form (page 77) and 

 

submits to the Prizer Hoods Designer.  

2.   The Prizer Hoods Designer reviews the  

 

 

specifications and provides a quote. Typically  

 

the quote should be back to the dealer within  

 

a day or two.

3.   The quote is forwarded to the dealer/
 

distributor/designer/homeowner. After  

 

 

review, the homeowner or dealer approves    

 

and signs the quote. It is then sent back to 

 

Prizer Hoods.

4.   Upon receipt of the approved quotation from  
 

the customer, the engineering department    

 

will produce detailed autoCAD drawings.

 

a.    At this point, the Dealer/Distributor   

 

 

requests a deposit.

 
 

b.    The Dealer/Distributor issues a P.O. 

 

 

to Prizer Hoods for production to 

  commence.

 

With a “binding contract in place”, the signed  

 

quotation is considered a standard in the 

 

fabrication and construction industry. It protects  

 

the creativity of the manufacturer so that 

 

proprietary drawings are not “bid out” to 

 

competitors. For example, interior designers 

 

or architects do not release their drawings or 

 

renderings to the customer prior to receiving 

 

a signed agreement and/or deposit.

 

The designer/builder/homeowner/architect may 

 

revise the drawings as often as necessary. The 

 

autoCAD drawings will reflect the newest 

 

revisions or changes that are requested.

6.  In approximately 10 to 14 weeks (depending   
 

upon the complexity of the design) the hood is  

 

shipped to the homeowner or dealer.
