Attaching the Earpiece/Audio Accessory
The audio jack is located on the antenna side of the radio. It is
used to connect MOTOTRBO accessories to the radio.

Lift up the flap of the Audio Jack

Rotate connector clockwise or counterclockwise to lock.
To unlock, rotate until the indicators on both the connector and
housing are aligned. Pull out the connector gently to disconnect
from radio.

Powering Up the Radio
Press the On/Off button on the
front keypad. You see
MOTOTRBO (TM) on the radio’s
display momentarily, followed
by a welcome message or
