Number of Rings
You can select the number of times the unit rings before the answering
system answers a call, from “2” to “7” or “AUTO” (for Toll saver
system answers a call, from “2” to “7” or “AUTO” (for Toll saver

Your phone comes from the factory set to “4”.
Make sure the unit is not being used and the handset is lifted off the
base unit.

If the unit answers on the 2nd ring, there is at least one new message.
