1 .  Press 

/  . The screen displays DIRECTORY .

2 .  Press

   or   to scroll alphabetically through the entries .

 

  Press the dial pad key for the first letter of the entry to be edited.
3 .  When the screen displays the desired entry, press 

SEL . 

     Then press   or 

 until EDIT flashes.

4 .

   Press SEL . The screen displays the name and number . The cursor appears at the end of the 

name . Use   to backspace,   to add spaces and the dial pad keys to edit the name . Press 

SEL 

to move on to edit the number . Use   to backspace and make corrections . Press 

SEL to move 

on to edit the distinct ring tone . Follow steps 7-10 in 

Store a directory entry (page 20) .

•  When memory is 

full, the screen 

displays  

MEMORY FULL . 

There will be an 

error tone and no 

new entry can be 

stored until an 

existing entry is 

deleted .
