STOP/p Button

Press to stop the tape. Press to select an item in the VCR menu. Or,

if you have a Magnavox TV, press when in TV mode to move down

one row or selection in the TV menu.

During recording, press to pause the recording. Press a second time

to resume normal recording. Details are on page 25. You can not

pause a One-Touch Recording. During playback, press to freeze the

picture. Details are on page 39.

F.FWD(Fast Forward)/B Button

When playback is stopped, press to fast

forward the tape at high

speed. During playback, press to fast forward the tape while the pic-

ture stays on-screen. Details are on page 39. Or, if you have a

Magnavox TV, use to adjust the picture controls in the TV menu.

Press to change channels at the VCR or at a Magnavox TV.

Press to erase incorrect information when programming VCR fea-

tures. Press to reset the real-time counter. Details are on page 38. 

Use to select VCR or TV position.

Use to watch a tape, to watch a program while recording it, or to

watch a TV program (changing channels at the VCR). If the VCR

light appears on the display panel of the VCR, it is in VCR position.

Use to watch a TV program (changing channels at the TV) or to

watch one program while recording another. Details are on page 26.

If the VCR light doesn’t appear on the display panel, the VCR is in

TV position.

Press to eject the tape.

Press to operate a Magnavox TV.

Press to operate the VCR.

Press to adjust the TV’s volume.

Press to eliminate the TV’s sound. Press again to restore the volume.
