In People, you can easily manage your communications with contacts through phone, messaging, 
email, and social networks. And, if you have the same contacts from different sources, you can 
merge their contact information so you won’t have duplicate entries.

The People app lists all contacts stored on your phone and from the online accounts you’re logged in to.

 1.  Touch 

  >     >  People.

Tip:  You can also access People through the Phone app. Touch

 and then swipe left until 

you reach the People tab.

 2.  You can: 

 

l 

View your profile and edit your contact information.

 

l 

Create, edit, find, or send contacts.

 

l 

See status updates.

 

l 

Touch a contact photo to find ways to quickly connect with the contact.

 

l 

See a notification icon when a contact has sent you new messages.

Tip:  To sort your contacts by their first or last name, touch    >  Settings  >  Sort contact list.
