To call phonebook entries 1 through 9, just press and hold 
the one-digit speed dial number for one second.

We recommend that you reserve phonebook entry 1 
(speed dial number 1) for storing and dialing your 
voicemail number. In many cases, Verizon Wireless has 
already done this for you. See page 93 to store your 
voicemail number for one-touch dial access.

To call a phone number embedded in a text 
message that you receive, highlight or open the 
message and then:

While dialing (with digits visible in the display), open the 

Dialing Menu
