Battery Installation or Replacement
To Install Battery
1.
Align the tabs on the top of the bat-
tery to the guide rails on the radio
(Figure 2).

Press battery and radio together.

Slide the battery towards the top of
the radio until the battery latches

To Remove Battery
The basic operation needed for bat-
tery removal is illustrated in
Figure 2.

Disengage both battery latches,
located on each side of the bottom

Move battery down on guide rails

NOTE
Before each removal attempt, push battery bot-
tom towards top of radio to properly seat bat-
tery. Figures 3 & 4 show right-handed
operators, use mirror image of figures for left-
handed users.
