 First  Steps

The battery is not charged at shipment.  Charge the battery before use.  The 
camera charges the battery internally.

  Charge the battery.

Connect the camera and AC power adapt-
er using the included USB cable.  Then 
plug the AC power adapter into an indoor 
power outlet.

 

Q The battery cannot be charged when you 

connect the USB cable to the computer.
