The Zone setting is a useful function for your over-

seas trips. This feature enables you to display the 

local time on the LCD screen while you are abroad.
.  Select「World Time」in the basic settings menu. 

The World Time screen appears.

2.  Press the up/down to select the departure place  

( 

 ) and destination ( 

 ) fields.

.  Press the left/right arrow button to select a city 

located in the same time zone as that of the field. 

Press the 

 button to confirm settings.

Refer to the “Reset Date/Time” section on page 9.

Please note: formatting enables you to delete all 

contents in the memory card and built-in memory, 

including protected photo and movie files.

To use this setting:

.  Press the   button, press the up/down arrow 

button to select 

 and press the 

 button to 

enter the menu.

2.  Press up/down arrow button to select 

 and 

press the 

 button or right arrow button to enter 

the menu.

.  Press the up/down arrow button to select「Format」

and press the 

 button or right arrow button to 

enter the menu.

4.  Press the up/down arrow buttons to select「Yes」

or「No」and press the 

 button to confirm.

5.  If you select「Yes」the camera formats its memory.
