The factory-set TV (video) mode is PAL. To change this setting, follow the

operation below.

Key countries using NTSC: Japan, U.S.A., South Korea, Canada, etc.
Key countries using PAL: U.K., Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Australia, the
Netherlands, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, etc.

You can use the supplied video cable to capture or play images by displaying them on a TV.

When connecting or disconnecting the video cable, be sure to turn off the
camera and TV power first.

Press the power switch to turn on the
power.

The camera enters the Still Image Capture mode.

Press MENU.

The Capture Menu screen is displayed.

In the Capture Menu screen, select

The Setup menu is displayed.

Insert the mini-plug (smaller plug) of the video cable into the
USB terminal on the camera, and then connect the pin plug
(larger, yellow plug) to the video terminal on the TV.

Keep the connected video cable slack. If the cable remains taut, the
terminals may be subject to excessive force and sustain damage.

The LCD monitor is turned off while the camera is connected to a TV.

Check to see if the camera power is turned
off. If the camera is still on, press the power
switch to turn off the power.

Turn off the power.

Open the lens cover and turn on the
camera.

The images are displayed on the TV.

activate Playback mode.
