Your name is announced whenever you log onto your mailbox, the directory is 
accessed, the system greeting is selected, or when a message is sent by another 
voice mail user. 

Your voice mail system prompts you through the entire recording sequence. You can 
re-record your name at any time simply by repeating these steps.

Your voice mail system may not be configured to play your name 
when you log on to your mailbox.

l

Your system may be programmed such that you need to record your 
extension as well as your name. Ask your System Administrator for 
the requirements of your system.

1.

From the Manage 
Mailbox Menu, press

 

2 Change your User 
Options.

Your voice mail system prompts with Change your 
User Options Menu.

Press

 6 Record your 

Name.

Your voice mail system prompts you to record 
your name. 

3.

At the tone, state your 
name slowly and clearly 
(and your extension, if 
required).

Press

 # 

when done.

4.

(Optional) After 
recording, you can press:

1 Review recording

Your newly recorded name (and extension) plays.

2 Re-record

Press

 # 

when done.

You can re-record your name (and extension) as 
often as you wish.
