3. Set the tape select switch to 

 for normal

bias cassette tapes or to 

 for chrome

or metal cassette tapes.

4. Slide 

 upwards if you are playing a

cassette tape that was recorded with Dolby B
noise reduction (see “Dolby Noise Reduction” on
Page 18).
