Cisco Unified Communications Manager support
The Polycom VVX 1500 C registers directly to Cisco Unified
Communications Manager as a SIP device and works just like a standard IP
phone when making calls. To place a call to another phone or video device,
just dial the number or extension. If another video device is detected the
call is automatically escalated to video and the participants will be able to
see as well as hear one another. The VVX 1500 C can communicate with
most video devices including Cisco UC video clients and standards based
H.323 video endpoints when connected via a gatekeeper. Multipoint calls
between two or more video clients are supported via the Cisco Unified
Videoconferencing solution.
