Turn the SELECT control to display HANG UP, then tap SELECT.
The call waiting window will display TAP KEY.

Tap the phone key.
The talk and listen indicators will turn off and the call will terminate.

The phone key will flash red. Tap the key to answer the call. Hang up as previously described when finished.

During a phone conversation, tap the phone key once to turn on talk muting. Tap the key again to resume talking 

Tap the phone key to enter dial mode.

Turn the SELECT control to display REDIAL, then tap the SELECT control to redial.

Hang up as previously described when finished with the call.

NOTE: To use this feature, you must first have stored one or more auto dial numbers. See “Menus, Autodial (for KP-12/DKP-
12 Only)” on page 26.

Tap the phone key to enter dial mode.

Turn the SELECT control to display AUTODIAL in the call waiting window, then tap SELECT.

Turn the SELECT control to select the desired autodial number (ADL0 through ADL9), then tap SELECT control to dial 
the number.

Hang up as previously described when finished with the call.

NOTE: The following paragraph assumes that a redial or autodial key has already been set up and is ready for use. To set up a 
redial key, see “Menus, KEY ASGN, REDIAL (For KP-12, DKP-12 Only)” on page 34. To set up an autodial key, see 
“Menus, KEY ASGN, AUTODIAL (For KP-12, DKP-12 Only)” on page 27. A redial key will have the name RDL. Autodial 
keys will have names ADL0, AL1, and so forth.

To place a call on a redial or autodial key, simply tap the key. The number will automatically dial, talk and listen will activate. 
Hang up and mute are accomplished as previously described.
