Advanced receiving functions
The <Advanced Functions> key is for easy access to the following fax functions listed in
the table.
NOTE: • To shorten a frequent-use operation, assigning the function to a soft key is recom-
mended. For how to do this, see page 8-2.
• If one of the functions is assigned to any of the three soft keys, that function will
not be available through the <Advance Functions> key.
To select the fax function using advanced functions key:

Press <q> or <p>, or <Advanced Functions> repeatedly to select the function. Then
press <Enter>.

Report
Prints the transmit confirmation report for only the next trans-
mission.
Monitor
Obtains a dial tone to on-hook dialing.

Delayed
Used to make a delayed transmission.

Stores a document for batch transmission.
Select TTI
Used to select the TTI or to disable the TTI on your transmission. p. 4-17
Cover Page
Used for the cover page setting.
Fax Forward
Enables or cancels the fax forwarding.
Fax & Copy
Enables or cancels the Fax&Copy.
Security
Enables or cancels the security reception.
Separator Page
Enables or cancels the separator page.
Memory Tx
Enables or cancels the memory Tx.
Auto Rx
Enables or cancels the auto reception.
F-Code Tx
Used to make an F-code transmission.
F-Code Polling
Used to make an F-code polling.
Polling
Used to make a polling reception.
Dial Prefix
Enters the “/N” symbol.
Bypass
Used to set the paper size on the bypass tray.
Page Counter
Displays total printed and scanned page.
Energy Save
Enables or cancels the Energy save mode.

Cancels PC printing.

Switches the machine’s mode.
E-mail Gateway
Enables or cancels the e-mail gateway.
