1.
Turn off the power to your USB hard drive.
2.
Turn on the power to your computer.
3.
Insert the power cable plug into the DC IN input connector on the rear
panel of the USB hard drive (Figure 4 and Figure 5).

Insert the power cable’s female connector into the AC power adapter
