Removing
and
replacing
a
PCI
adapter
1.
Remove
the
cover.
See

Open
and
remove
the
adapter-slot-cover
latch
and
remove
the
failing
adapter.
3.
Remove
the
new
adapter
from
its
static-protective
package.
4.
Install
the
new
adapter
into
the
appropriate
slot
on
the
system
board.
5.
Install
and
close
the
adapter-slot-cover
latch.
6.
Go
to
Removing
and
replacing
the
battery
1.
Remove
the
cover.

Locate
the
battery.

If
necessary,
remove
any
adapters
that
impede
access
to
the
battery.

4.
Remove

old
