HDMI board

Before removing the HDMI board, follow these steps:

Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn

the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.

Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.

Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and

then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

Disconnect the tablet from the keyboard dock (see 

Remove the base enclosure (see 

Remove the battery (see 

Remove the hinge assembly (see 

To remove the HDMI board:

Disconnect the top ribbon cable (1) from the board.

Disconnect the power cable (2) from the board.

Rotate the left side of the board up to remove it (3) from the dock.

Reverse this procedure to install the HDMI board.
