Before removing the smart card reader assembly, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn

Remove the smart card reader assembly:

Position the bottom cover upside-down with the front toward you.
2.
Disconnect the cable from the system board connector (1).

Flex the tabs (2) that secure the board to the plastic holder, and then remove the board from the
