RJ-11 jack cable
NOTE:
The RJ-11 jack cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part number 641830-001.
Before removing the RJ-11 jack cable, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3.
Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4.
Remove the battery (see 
), and then remove the following components:
a.
Service cover (see 
)
b.
c.
Optical drive (see 
)
d.
Hard drive (see 
e.
)
f.
Keyboard (see 
g.
Base enclosure (see 
)
Remove the RJ-11 jack cable:
1.
Turn the base enclosure right-side up, with the front toward you.
2.
Release the RJ-11 jack from the clip (1) built into the base enclosure.
