Vanguard 6435 and 6455 ATM Compression Support
Introduction
Release 6.3 and greater supports the use of compression on a Vanguard 6435 and
6455. Prior to release 6.3 ATM was not designed to support compression over an
AAM station (connecting via PVC to LCON stations).

ATM Compression
Follow the steps in the table below. This configuration allows the data from an
LCON-1 to go out to an ATM station compressed.
