Execute
ping(1M)
to remote host. If ping is successful, continue to Transport Level
Test.

If ping is not successful, execute
netstat -in
to verify MTU size. Ensure MTU size
is the same on both local and remote hosts (9000 for jumbo frames and 1500 for
standard frames) by executing
