Table 3-2

gives the environmental operating conditions of the W24 module.

Caution:

Exceeding the values may result in permanent damage to the module.

Application Interface Specifications

Table 3-3

summarizes the DC electrical specifications of the host application interface connector

signals.

Table 3-4

summarizes the DC electrical specifications of the cellular modem (e.g. G24) interface

connector signals.

Important:

Interface signals that are not used by the customer application must be left
unconnected. W24 incorporates the necessary internal circuitry to keep unconnected
signal in their default state. Do not connect any components to, or apply any voltage
on, signals that are not used by the application.

Important:

It is recommended to place a pull-down resistor in the customer application, on the
IGN signal. A 100 kohm resistor, or less, is acceptable.

Important:

Signals that are defined as "Do Not Use", or DNU, must remain externally
unconnected in any case. These signals are reserved for future use.
