VRYCFG HP_IPDS CFGTYPE(*DEV) STATUS(*ON) 
 

Start the print writer: 
STRPRTWTR HP_IPDS 

To configure IPDS on AS/400 V4R1, you use the following commands: 
 

- CRTDEVPRT 
- CRTPSFCFG
