Borland Developer Studio 2006
does not override user selected
contrast and color selections or

size settings Some dialog boxes  and panes do not
properly support High Contrast mode
(background color does change, font color and
font size change in some panes but not others).
(h) When animation is displayed, the information
shall be displayable in at least one non-animated
presentation mode at the option of the user.
Supported.
Borland Developer Studio 2006
does not use animation.
(i) Color coding shall not be used as the only
means of conveying information, indicating an
action, prompting a response, or distinguishing a
visual element.
Supported.
Developer Studio 2006 uses
color coding as an exclusive
means to convey only non-
critical information.
Additionally, users can set
colors to aid discrimination.
Colors are used as the only means to distinguish
text state, such as code syntax elements. However,
the distinctions defined by color provide
additional, ancillary information that is not
critical to the use of the product. In addition, the
user can change the colors for each text state in
the application’s Options dialog.
(j) When a product permits a user to adjust color
and contrast settings, a variety of color selections
capable of producing a range of contrast levels
shall be provided.
Supported with exceptions.
Borland Developer Studio 2006
does not override user selected
contrast and color selections or
display attributes with minor
exceptions.
Wherever controls for color formatting of UI
elements and content are provided, Developer
Studio 2006 provides the full range color
selections available in the Windows XP color
chooser.
(k) Software shall not use flashing or blinking
text, objects, or other elements having a flash or
blink frequency greater than 2 Hz and lower than
55 Hz.
Supported.
Borland Developer Studio 2006
does not use flashing or
blinking objects.
(l) When electronic forms are used, the form shall

required for completion and submission of the
form, including all directions and cues.
Not Applicable.
This functionality does not
apply to Borland Developer
Studio 2006 functionality.
