Ribbon Removal
To remove used ribbon, complete these steps:

If the ribbon has not run out, cut or break it as close to the ribbon take-up spindle as
possible.

Remove the loosened hook from the spindle (4).

Lightly tap the top of the used ribbon to loosen it; grasp the used ribbon and remove it
from the ribbon take-up spindle.
