Replace the memory slot cover.

Replace the screw and tighten it.

Turn the computer over and reconnect any cables you 
removed.

If you need to remove a memory module:

Complete steps 1–7 in “

” to shut down the computer and expose the 

memory module(s).

Pull the clips away from the memory module.

The memory module pops partially out of the slot.

Carefully remove the module from the slot.

Replace the memory slot cover and the screw.

Restart the computer.
