Connecting the power cord
After connecting the CRT display unit and other peripherals to the PC main unit, connect the power
cord of the PC main unit to a wall outlet while observing the following precautions.
-  Do not plug or unplug the power cord while your hands are wet.
-  Do not abuse or remodel the power cord.
-  Do not put heavy objects on the power cord and/or stretch, bend excessively, twist, or heat it.
-  Do not use your PC if its power cord or plug is damaged or if its receptacle is loose.
-  If the electrodes of the power cord plug or the slots of the corresponding receptacle are soiled,
wipe them clean with a dry cloth.
-  Connect the power cord to a household power source.
Note the following
Do not plug the power cord of your PC in a multiple plug box.  Keep the keyboard and mouse cables
from getting entangled with each other.
-  When an electrical storm approaches, disconnect all power cords of your PC from wall outlets.
-  When disconnecting the power cord, hold its plug housing rather than pulling directly on the
cord.
-  Insert the power cord into the outlet until it is seated completely.
-  For safety, you should unplug your PC if you do not plan to use it for a long period of time.
Attach the power cord female
connector to the inlet on the
rear of the PC.
Connect the power cord to a power source.
Insert the power cord plug into a wall outlet.
