Command Mode
Router OSPFv3 Configuration mode
User Guidelines
The grace period must be set long enough to allow the restarting router to 
reestablish all of its adjacencies and complete a full database exchange with 
each of those neighbors.
passive-interface
Use the passive-interface command to set the interface or tunnel as passive. 
It overrides the global passive mode that is currently effective on the interface 
or tunnel. Use the “no” form of this command to set the interface or tunnel 
as non-passive.
Syntax
passive-interface {vlan 
vlan-id | tunnel tunnel-id}
no passive-interface {vlan 
vlan-id | tunnel tunnel-id}
vlan-id — The vlan number
tunnel-id — Tunnel identifier. (Range: 0–7)
Default Configuration
Passive interface mode is disabled by default.
Command Mode
Router OSPFv3 Configuration mode.
